Personal Favorites

This collection consists of not only the “best” of my work, but more so the work that defines my reason for photography: presenting the natural beauty of the world we live in. These images represent my vision and passion for this career. It isn’t easy to just pick and choose; many have a short backstory to them as well. Images are in no particular order!

Misty Layers

Pennsylvania, USA - July 2025

This shot could have easily been missed. I just so happened to look out the window and beheld a dramatic scene of misty clouds flooding the distant mountains while early sunset light illuminated the scene. I quickly scrambled for my long lens, and using a 270mm focal length, I captured this very small scene that was void of most of the urbanized Pennsylvanian infrastructure. The very distant birds were the cherry on top for one of my favorite and lucky scenes to photograph.

Firerise

Pine Creek Gorge, Pennsylvania, USA - July 2025

An overnight camping trip on the west rim of the canyon led to a spectacular sunrise the next morning. The hues of pink and red engulfed the sky and made the perfect contrast to the blue and green of the mountains below.

Woodland Valley

Catskill Mountains, New York, USA - June 2025

While on a 40-mile cycling trip in the mountains, I found myself facing this scene with very perfect mid-day lighting. I stopped on an elevated position above the river and found this acceptable composition.

Burning Sky

Pennsylvania, USA - July 2025

A sunset in July 2025 gifted an intensely artistic and dramatic sunset, which resembled a burning sky and the most orange clouds I have witnessed. Skies, if right, are some of my favorite subjects to photograph.
