Flat Rocks

Pennsylvania, USA | April 2024

The locals call this area the Flat Rocks. For this image, I was given a unique opportunity to hike along a private trail in Newton-Ransom, Pennsylvania, with the land owners. They showed me a lot of history and hidden gems of the area. I asked, and was definitely encouraged, to go back again in the coming year, as it started to downpour as we returned. However, despite the conditions, I created this atmospheric image of a location not ever photographed before, at least this perspective. Photo © Matthew Malcolm
